I have been drawn to painting birds over the last few months. For me, they symbolise a sense of freedom, being able to take flight with their beautiful wings. The egret, similar to herons and cranes, often represents longevity, determination, and grace. I also included lotus flowers in this piece as they too represent determination, as well as purity and strength. Both elements convey a strong sense of beauty and power and I am fascinated by this relationship.
